What is Oki-tatami (Ryukyu tatami)?

Tatami mats, also known as unit tatami mats or system tatami mats, are tatami mats that can be placed in the amount of space you want.
Uemura Tatami offers a rental tatami mat service, but we have now started a rental service for "half tatami mat type tatami mats" that makes it even easier to use tatami mats.
The size is about half the size of a regular tatami mat, approximately 82 x 82 cm. It weighs only 2.8 kg, so even women can carry it easily. It is also thinner than a regular tatami mat, about 15 mm thick.
The back is treated with an anti-slip coating to prevent it from slipping.

About the intended use

Since it is a rental, you can use it anywhere.
Each sheet weighs just 2.8 kg, making it lightweight and easy for women and children to carry.

Steps for returning rental tatami mats

Step 1

Check the return shipping label

Please check the return shipping label (cash on delivery slip) included with the rental item. If you have lost the shipping label, please proceed to step 2.

Step 2

packing

Place the rented tatami mat into the box that was sent to you, seal it securely with packing tape, etc., and pack it.
Please attach the shipping label from step 1.
If you have lost your shipping label, please return it to the address below, cash on delivery. When contacting us to arrange collection, please state that you would like a cash on delivery label.

Collection request

Please request Sagawa Express to collect the item when returning it.
Please bring the package to your nearest Sagawa Express office, or contact your nearest Sagawa Express office via the URL below and call them directly to arrange for collection in the morning.
