Ryukyu Tatami, Seiryu, Meseki, No Border
Machine-spun washi paper is rolled into a rope and coated with resin. Compared to rush grass, there is little risk of mold or fading, and it is easy to maintain. When rearranging dressers or furniture, discoloration of tatami mats can be a concern. "Kenyaka Omote" hardly changes color or fades, even in rigorous tests where it is exposed to ultraviolet rays for long periods of time, and it continues to maintain its beauty.
